David's Meteorite Collection

Updated: August 20, 2009

Hi all, welcome to my personal meteorite collection website.  I started collecting late April 2009.  For me, studying meteorites is a natural extension of my visual astromony pursuits which I began in 2003.  I enjoy learning about meteorites and feel fortunate to be able to hold in my hands an object that is at least 4.6 Billion years old or older.   Thanks for taking the time to view my humble beginners collection and note that the meteorites shown below are in the order of acquistion from left to right to the best of my knowledge.

My grandson Kainoa draws pictures of cars.  This one reminded me so much of a meteorite flaming in the atmosphere! He was 8 when he drew this.
